"Tonsil Trouble" is the first episode of the twelfth season of the animated television series South Park. It was first aired on March 12, 2008.[1] In the episode, Cartman contracts AIDS during a blood-transfusion, and intentionally infects Kyle as well when Kyle laughs at Cartman's misfortune. The episode is unique in the fact that in many other South Park episodes Cartman has stated his wish for Kyle to contract AIDS.

That's one of my favorite episodes -- The cure for AIDS is CASH!!!! Priceless!

I also like "Red Man's Greed" for similar reasons. In the episode, SARS hits the town of South Park with all its might, leading to one of the funniest gags of the entire series: "Stanley, listen to me. I have SARS. There's only a 98% chance that I will live... Listen, Stan! SARS is destroying our people. The Native Americans put it in the blankets they gave us *cough*...Soon, there will be only 98% of us left."

The creators of South Park are what one could term as silent dissidents.

Throughout their episodes there's sometimes very subtle pokes and jabs at the HIV establishment.

This episode takes the cake though, but as one would suspect, the real message is lost on the great majority of their fans.

Jared Has Aides - Another of my favorites.

You can't tell me that Trey Parker and Matt Stone are not closet AIDS dissidents.
