Breakthrough Report:

AZT use on children with ADD/ADHD diagnose
by Washington Post Reporter (Terri Schiavo)
Washington DC 29 August 2005

After years of scientists trying to figure out what AZT drugs are actually useful for, scientists solved that mystery today. A large clinical study on the efficiancy of AZT drugs on 2081 children and adolescents (ages 4-17, with a mean of 9) who meet DSM-IV TR criterion for ADD/ADHD was conducted. The studies results were staggering. Compared to placebo, the AZT group of children and adolescents saw a 100% decrease in symptoms of the disorder. Scientists aren t sure why this is, but the matter is currently under investigation. "All we know is that these drugs are a huge success and will be put on a fast track route threw the FDA s drug approval system" stated a grinning Dr. Lawrence Gallo. This is seen as a huge success for Dr. Gallo by his employer and collegues and will surely be remember for years to come. As many people know, ADD/ADHD is a disorder characterized by children wanting to move around and have fun, and an inability to sit down for long periods of time while doing nothing but staring at a chalkboard. Today, the ATA (American Teacher Association) sent a letter praising Dr. Gallo for his work in helping these young children, and the Vatican has now put him on the fast track to sainthood. Dr. Gallo also explained his reasoning for wanting to add ADD/ADHD to the diagnostic criteria of HIV/AID$ . "After the success of these drugs was demonstrated here, it is clearly evident that ADD/ADHD is caused by HIV, the virus that causes AIDS, we aren t sure of the connection, but we know there is one" stated Dr. Gallo at a later time in the day. Dr. Gallo later stood before the US Congress to express the need for getting all young children and adolescents with ADD/ADHD onto AZT s immediatly without further question. "To not do so would be akin to murder, do you like to murder innocent children?" Dr. Gallo proclaimed. "The important factor to realize here though is that these drugs will also need to be given to the parents of these children/adolescents because of the apparent genetic factoring into all of this" loudly stated a sobbing Dr. Gallo. Clearly though, this is a great victory for everyone everywhere, for teachers and daycare workers, and especially in the fight against HIV, the virus known to cause AIDS and drug side effects. A local woman in nearby Capitol Heights, MD stated that she can "sleep better" at night knowing that "HIV is now getting under control".
