Gang:

I went to my friendly local neighborhood frozen yogurt shop last night (this IS West Hollywood, California, after all), not really planning on having to deal with this "AIDS" issue. I looked around on the counter where people place flyers for various things: plays, films, and yes, sometimes some "AIDS-related" events. (I have, in the past, placed flyers in this spot myself for some community meetings).

Lo and behold I found a flyer that is inviting people (well, only CERTAIN types of people, apparently) to join a popular, long-established and, of course, WELL-FUNDED AIDS cohort which has generated DOZENS of studies. The most interesting thing about this brochure, in addition to the very fact that (due to plummeting cases of, and waning interest in, "AIDS") such a plea is apparently NECESSARY, is the list of specifications for potential "participants" in the study:

Specifically, they "are looking for:

* Sexually active, Latino and African-American men

* 18 to 40 years of age

* HIV-Positive men who have never had HIV treatment

* HIV-Positive men who started HIV treatment before developing AIDS

* HIV-Negative men"

WELL, isn t that SPECIAL?! Notice how they basically say "white men need not apply". Notice how they also imply that only Latino and African-American men are "sexually active". I guess "HIV-Negative men" are not sexually active, either, according to their specifications. I m sure you can pick out a few other interesting anomalies based upon the above specifications. For one more, I suppose they re finally realizing that there must be a LOT of "HIV-Positive men who have never had HIV treatment"!

I think one of the reasons they may be focusing on minority men is because they may believe that, according to orthodox mythology, these groups of men are more inclined to be "infected" with "HIV". The orthodoxy believes this despite the fact that, as the Perth Group point out in THEIR PAPER ON SO-CALLED "AIDS" IN AFRICA, blacks have been shown to have higher levels of (general) serum antibodies when compared to their caucasian counterparts. Naturally, such people with elevated levels of serum antibodies would be much more likely to test positively on ANY antibody test, especially an antibody test as NOTORIOUSLY NON-SPECIFIC as the so-called "HIV antibody test".

We can also point out that focusing on "HIV-Positive men who have never had HIV treatment" and on "HIV-Positive men who started HIV treatment before developing AIDS" constitutes another admission on the part of the orthodoxy of problems with the HIV=AIDS hypothesis. The medical literature shows that, among so-called "long-term non-progressors", most (and in some studies ALL) such "HIV-Positives" have NOT taken the "anti-viral" medications. Have another look at THIS ANALYSIS OF THE DATA ON "LONG-TERM NON-PROGRESSORS".

Just thought I d share this with y all. "And the beat goes on..", doesn t it?

Rod Knoll,
Founder,
AIDS REALITY CHECK

"Bless my eyes...fresh SUPPLIES!"

-from "Sweeney Todd, the Demon Barber of Fleet Street" by Stephen Sondheim

Gee, I m surprised they think there are gay men in West Hollywood who haven t been on the meds. I was down there about 8 months ago and was surprised to see so many men on the meds. It s such a relatively easy thing to spot.

Chris
